PYRAMID POLICIES

     RULES & REGULATIONS:        SEE RULES FOR: PROGRAMS FOR PARENTS
PICK-UP TIME 6 PM Parent MUST pick-up their children and be out of the building by 6 pm (our time). A $2/min Fee will be charged from 6 pm until 7 pm. Repeat late pickup will result in an increased late fee from $3 to $5/min or termination of enrollment. Entering the building before 6 pm but leaving after 6 pm is still considered late. Parents must arrive early enough to cloth their child, pack belongings, wait for cabs, etc., and still exit the building by 6 pm.
DROP-OFF TIME 7 AM - 10 AM Parents must drop-off children before 10 am. Students arriving 10 am will not be allowed entry. Parents that have medial appointments and need to drop-off after 10 am MUST call us by 9 am to let us know. Parents that drop-off after 11 am are responsible to provide their own lunch for that day. Routinely arriving after 10 am will not be allowed.
CHECK-IN DAILY Parents MUST Check-in at front desk BEFORE taking children to their classrooms.  A $20 Fee will be charged for Students present in classrooms without being Checked-in.  
UNPACKING DAILY Parents are responsible for removing their children's coats, hats, sweaters, etc., unpacking their belongings and putting everything in their cubbies when they arrive in the classroom. Parents CANNOT simply let their children into the building and leave them with their coats on and book bag in hand.
DE-CLOTHING WINTER Parents are responsible for removing their newborn & infant snowsuits. We have two changing tables near the lobby designated for this purpose.
SIGN-OUT DAILY Sign-Out Sheet MUST BE SIGNED daily for EACH Student. Each Classroom has their own individual Sign-out Sheet.
TUITION & FEE PAYMENTS WEEKLY Tuition must be paid on the Friday Prior to the week of service.  A 10% Fee of your past due balance will be added to your tuition account as of Tuesday morning. Your child can be excluded from school at any time there is a past due balance.
ABSENCES / ILLNESS  WEEKLY Tuition is based on Enrollment not attendance. Tuition is still due when a child is absent. Tuition pays for a child's enrollment spot not his or her presence in the building. Parents MUST inform management of prolonged absence (over 3 days) in order to prevent termination.
VACATION ANNUALLY Each student will be granted ONE free "Vacation Credit" per year where the parent does not have to make any TUITION payment for that week. Management MUST be informed of any planned vacation and any Past Due Tuition MUST be paid prior to the vacation absence in order to receive this credit and in order to hold the enrollment spot.
STUDENT BEHAVIOR  Pyramid Academy has a "3-Strike" policy.  At the first signs of misbehavior, the teacher tries to correct the problem.  If the behavior continues, the teacher will have the Director aware of the problem and we then inform the parent.  If the behavior continues after the parent is informed, then we issue our 1st strike. The second incident will result in a 3-day suspension from school.  A third incident will result in a termination of enrollment from our school. We will do everything in our power to correct & help your child be a good student and classmate. However, we cannot ruin the experiences of our other students for the sake of one child.   
PARENT BEHAVIOR  Foul language, rude discourteous behavior, violence or the threat of it, enraged actions, drunk or disorderly conduct and the like, will not be tolerated. At the first signs of misbehavior the director will speak to parent. If a second incident occurs, the parent will be permanently disallowed from entering the building - no exceptions. In this case, someone else must be authorized to pick up child. Any other incident will result in the student's termination.   
PERSONAL PROPERTY  PERSONAL PROPERTY: Pyramid Academy is not responsible for property stolen or misplaced. Strollers and car seats are not allowed in building. Strollers can be set aside outside of the school with a large plastic cover. We are not responsible for strollers getting wet or stolen.  Parents should NOT leave any valuable items with the child or teacher or adorn their children with expensive or keep-sake jewelry or clothing.  
CUBBY SPACE  CUBBY SPACE: Two students share each cubby in each classroom, so we must be fair to both children by allowing equal space between students. Please do not bring bulky items to school.
